How does the Natural Cosmetic Formulation Club work?
The Natural Cosmetic Formulation Club is a global network of like-minded natural and organic cosmetic formulators, a space where you can enhance and diversify your skills and knowledge.
If you need a refresher of basic formulation knowledge you can start with Formulating 101 our welcome packet, so to speak, which contains handy reference guides on formulating essentials.
From there, you can launch into an exciting journey, expanding your knowledge, enhancing your formulating skills, and choosing your own learning path.
What’s it going to be? Soap making or make-up? AHAs & BHAs or deodorants? A pH masterclass or discovering which natural preservatives are most effective?
The choice is yours!

Your Club, Your Way
Alice
is a graduate of our Certificate in Making Natural Skincare Products. She wants to keep learning at her own pace, and focus on the things that are important to her. Alice is currently using her monthly credits to learn to make mineral makeup products. Then, she’ll take the Children’s Haircare class to make a gentle shampoo for her daughter.
Noor
has recently completed our Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation, and he wants to keep the ball rolling. Noor uses his monthly credits to expand the types of skincare products he formulates, and has recently taken the Cold Process Soapmaking course and classes on formulating hand wash and foaming cleansers.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you’re looking for a start-to-finish course which provides a thorough grounding in skincare or haircare formulation, a course—such as our Diploma in Natural Haircare Formulation or our Diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation —is best.
If you have some experience, and want to diversify your knowledge, take bite-sized classes in a variety of topics, then the Club is a great choice!
While some of the Club classes can be taken as a complete beginner—for example, Formulating Mineral Make-up and Cold Process Soap Making—not all classes are suitable for beginners. If you want to get started, learn the basics of making a wide range of products with our Certificate in Making Natural Skincare Products, and then come check out the Club!
Absolutely! The Natural Cosmetic Formulation Club is open to everyone, whether you have studied with us before or not.
We will only open the Club to new members a few times a year. So you’re not left waiting, join the Club now before the joining window closes!
You can remain a member for as long as you like. You can cancel your membership at any time.
For your monthly membership fee you’ll receive:
- 50 credits each month to spend on any classes, courses, formulations, experiments or resources of interest to you.
- Additional complimentary resources such as Formulating 101, guides, recipe books and bonus formulations.
- Membership of our exclusive online Club community.

Each month, you’ll receive 50 credits to spend however you choose! Each resource in the Club is worth between 20–100 credits so you can pick and choose what you’d like to study. Unused credits roll over to the next month, and you can even top-up with additional credits if you wish. As a thank-you for being a member, we’ll also add an additional 50 credits to your account every 6 months!
On average each class in the Club is 50 credits. Shorter resources such as formulations, charts and lab skills resources are on average 25 credits. For our multi-module courses (which usually consist of 5 modules) most modules are 50 credits (for some courses the first module is 100 credits as it is a longer, detailed theory module).

The classes take a variety of forms including step-by-step video demonstrations and beautiful guides and ebooks. The PDFs can be downloaded to your own device.
We hope you’ll love the Club! If you join and then change your mind you have 14 days from the date you join to request a refund, but only if you haven’t accessed any of the products during this time (for example classes, courses, formulations etc).
